Message from the CEO

Aiken, South Carolina is a great place to live and a great place to practice medicine. That's because when you practice medicine here, you'll be able to combine a hospital that offers leading-edge medical technology with the comforts of living in a close-knit, thriving community.

Everyone at Aiken Regional Medical Centers — physicians, nurses and other staff members — works hard every day to provide the high quality healthcare that our neighbors need and deserve.

Over the past several years, we have done a great deal to improve the quality of care we provide area residents. We've recently upgraded all of our patient rooms and now offer only private rooms to patients. We have added new facilities to provide cancer and cardiac care. We've added pediatrics, revamped our emergency department and added programs for wound healing and sleep disorders. We've even added parking and reconfigured traffic flow to make it easier for patients and their families to visit the hospital.

We are constantly working to improve the quality of care we provide the community. We introduce new services, obtain new equipment and employ the best nurses, technologists and support staff we can, and try to make this a great place for them to work. And through it all, we never lose sight of the personal care our patients receive every day.

Thank you for your interest in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
